After the start of another international project of Benfica for the development of athletes in Egypt, last November 8, the Under-15 team became Champion of the city of Giza, winning the final by 4-0.

The team, led by the Benfica coaches Tiago Marques and Francisco Henriques, qualified for the play-off of the City of Giza, after carrying out an undefeated series of 6 matches in the group stage, finishing in 1st place. The team scored 21 goals, conceding only 4.

In the play-off, two games were played before the final, at this stage the team exceeded expectations again, winning by 4-1 in the quarterfinals and 5-1 in the semi-finals.
