Cervi: “Happy for the goal and the victory”

It was with a goal from Cervi, at 23 minutes, that Sport Lisboa e Benfica won against Vitória de Guimarães, in a match held this Saturday evening, for matchday 15 of the Liga NOS. An intense match, with a lot of commitment, with the eagles racking up the more points.

“This is a difficult Stadium and we had a great performance, a great performance, and I'm very happy for the win which was what we came here looking for. We knew it was going to be a complicated game... it was important to have ball possession and it was great the effort of the whole team to take the three points to Lisbon”, claimed Franco Cervi, elected the man of the match, at the end of the encounter.

The number 11 of the team coached by Bruno Lage highlighted the goal scored and also a hard-fought performance.

“I am always ready to help the team. If I have to defend, I do it. I also like to attack. I'm happy for the goal and for the win”, he assured.
