Benfica drew against Sporting on matchday 1 of the women's football League Cup.


Benfica's women's football team, coached by Luís Andrade, drew against Sporting (2-2) this afternoon on matchday 1 of the League Cup. A match of strong emotions, tributes and a final stretch that could have earned another result.

Before the derby kick-off the was a minute of silence in the memory of Paulo Gonçalves. The pilot, who was a Benfica partner for several years, passed away this Sunday (January 12) after a crash at the Rali Dakar.
