Sniper Seferovic solved a tough battle


Benfica completed the comeback against Rio Ave and qualified for semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup.


Energetic, hard-working and with recovered effectiveness in the finishing, Benfica completed the comeback against Rio Ave in the quarter-finals of the Taça de Portugal. Seferovic, launched by Bruno Lage in the second half, scored two goals and qualified the eagles for the semi-finals after 3-2 win.

In the semi-final that will be played in two legs within a week in February, the Reds will face the winner of the clash between Paços de Ferreira and Famalicão, that play at 8:00 pm this Wednesday.

On Friday there will be a new match, for matchday 17 of the Liga NOS, with Benfica visiting Sporting (9:15 pm).
