Sport Lisboa e Benfica supporters' club in Moura showed its solidarity by offering the local firemen an automatic external defibrillator to equip an ambulance that can serve the entire population of the district.

The 2nd edition of the Trail Cidade de Moura, Terra do Grande Lago, a competition with strong aspect of solidarity, organized by the local Casa do Benfica was scheduled for April 26.

Given the Covid-19 pandemic, the competition was postponed for September 27… but the solidarity was even brought forward.

Thus, given the current situation, Casa do Benfica understood that it would make perfect sense for the donation to go ahead and bear the cost of the equipment, keeping the initial goal and counting on the future support of the sponsors and athletes of the walk.

The local firemen received a defibrillator and the cause  “Vamos pôr a Camila a Andar” [ Let's help Camila walk again] will not be forgotten either.
