Futebol feminino do Benfica a festejar conquista da Taça de Portugal 2018/19
The campaign in the Portuguese Cup was inspiring… The eagles saw off Palmelense (0-20), next came (16-0), Marítimo (1-5), Ribeirão FC (21-0) and Atlético Ouriense (16-0) before reaching the semi-final, played in two legs, against SC Braga.
In the 1st leg of the semi-final, the reds lost by 1-2 at home, leaving everything up for grabs in the tie. The 2nd leg took place at the Estádio Municipal 1.º de Maio. Benfica beat SC Braga by 2-4 with goals from Geyse, Darlene, Yasmim and Evy Pereira and reached the final, where they face and beat Valadares Gaia.
