The Manchester City player granted an interview to the newspaper "As". At the age of 25, The Portuguese international Bernardo Silva does not forget his beloved club, an emblem he represented for 12 years (2002 to 2014).
Asked about his strong connection to the "Glorioso", Bernardo Silva was clear: "I was very happy at Benfica. I was there for 12 years. It was at the club that I became a man and a football player"
From the past to the present, another gem nurtured at Benfica Campus was also mentioned in the conversation with “As”: João Félix! Playing at Atlético de Madrid, the striker earned praise from Bernardo Silva. "I've trained with him [João Félix] several times in the National Team and he has great potential. He must continue working and improving. The price they paid for him is fair. João [Félix] is worth that amount", claimed the midfielder, who revealed… "I have a tattoo. It is the only one I've got and it is the motto of Benfica ‘E Pluribus Unum’", he said.
Playing at Barcelona, Nélson Semedo, a right-back nurtured at Benfica Campus, and who represented the Reds between 2013 and 2017, is the biggest highlight in today's "Mundo Deportivo". According to this Catalunya-based newspaper, several European giants are keeping an eye on the Portuguese international.

Ederson, Lindelöf, André Gomes, Bernardo Silva and João Cancelo (Premier League), Renato Sanches (Ligue 1), Oblak, Gonçalo Guedes, Nélson Semedo and João Félix (La Liga) ansMário Rui (Serie A) are a few examples.
