On the International Missing Children's Day, Sport Lisboa e Benfica joins the #FootballCares initiative, which aims to join forces among European football entities to help find missing children.

This initiative, which involves the 86 members of ECA (European Club Association) and more than 200 clubs around the world, supports the campaign conducted by the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC). Benfica, which is a member of the ECA's board of directors, is the only Portuguese club involved in this project.

Welcome, Lukebakio!

Signed a contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica on the evening of September 1, the closing date of the summer transfer window in the 2025/26 Liga Portugal, and the following morning he began working at Benfica Campus. Lukebakio was welcomed by coach Bruno Lage, general director of professional football Mário Branco, technical director Simão Sabrosa, and his new teammates (except, of course, those who are on duty with their respective national teams at this stage of the season).
