Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that it has reached an agreement for Afonso Guerreiro's contract extension. The 25-year-old athlete moves to his second consecutive season at Estádio da Luz.

"I'm very happy with the contract renewal. It was a positive year both for me and for the team. It was a shame the season did not end. The state of mind is positive, to go on for another season and I hope this one comes to an end so that we can celebrate many achievements", he claimed.

Afonso Guerreiro 

The left front 4 also set his goals for 2020/21.

"I hope to win my place in the team. This year I will try to play more and help the team achieve its goals", stressed Afonso Guerreiro.
