Sport Lisboa e Benfica completed the signing of Helton Leite (29 years old), who in the last two seasons represented Boavista. The Brazilian goalkeeper penned a contract until 2025, strengthening the professional football squad under coach Jorge Jesus.
"It is a huge pride to be able to feel this club and be able to wear this jersey. I'm very proud and I want to thank God for coming here and being able to live all this today", claimed Helton Leite.
"Work hard and win titles! That’s my main goal. To be in a club where I can experience the victories, and where every day I can push harder, evolve, grow and reach the end of the season winning titles and lifting trophies", said the athlete.
"I want to thank everyone for the confidence, I hope we can walk together this season and win many titles", finished Helton Leite.
