After the good individual results of the Benfica athletes in the Mediterranean Championships on Saturday, This Sunday it was the red team's turn to achieve the silver medal in the Mixed Relays Clubs European Championships, also held in Alhandra.

The Sport Lisboa e Benfica team, composed by Melanie Santos, João Silva, Vera Vilaça and Vasco Vilaça completed the 250 meters of swimming, 6.75 kilometers of cycling and 1.70 kilometers of athletics in 1h23m16s, one minute and four seconds more than Poissy Triatlon, who defended the European title.

In 3rd place finished the Belgian team of Atriac-6D Sports Nutrition, who completed the event in 1h24m10s.
