Otamendi regretted the away loss of Benfica against Boavista (3-0), in the closing of Round 6 of the Liga NOS.

"We didn’t do well in the first half, we lost the ball many times… We tried to attack, to score, but it wasn’t easy. We keep the same focus, which is to improve every game. In the next game we must correct the mistakes and try to improve", said the center-back.

"No one takes the trophy in the first games. The League is long, we want to improve the mistakes we made and get experience game after game. It’s important to recover well and, in the next game, come back with a winning mentality, which is what Benfica needs to have always", added Otamendi.
