Benfica's first goal in the visit to Maurice Dufresne Stadium, in Liège, was scored by Everton. The Brazilian international had other chances to score, but the draw (2-2) was the outcome of the match against Standard on matchday 6 of Group D of the  Europa League.

"We had plenty of opportunities to score goals, but unfortunately we couldn't finish, particularly in the second half. We hit the woodwork on two occasions and we had other goal chances the goalkeeper  [Bodart] saved. We could have left this ground with a win!", commented the eagles' number 7.

"With each match I feel more comfortable playing with the Benfica jersey. The coach and the group have given me total confidence. Today I managed to score a goal, but more important than that was the game we played", calmed the Brazilian international.
