Jorge Jesus, the SL Benfica coach, has named 24 player for the trip to Greece, where the team will face Arsenal in the 2nd leg of the Europa League round of 32.

Midfielder Samaris, despite not having been registered with UEFA, will also travel to Athens, in order to be with the group and be able to train with it.

The clash in Greece will have Bjorn Kuipers as the referee and kicks off at 5:55 pm this Thursday, February 25, at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium, in Athens.


Goalkeepers: Odysseas, Svilar and Helton;

Defenders: Vertonghen, Grimaldo, Otamendi, Lucas Veríssimo, Gilberto and Nuno Tavares;

Midfielders: Pizzi, Rafa, Cervi, Samaris*, Julian Weigl, Adel Taarabt, Gabriel, Diogo Gonçalves, Chiquinho, Everton and Pedrinho;   

Forwards: Darwin, Waldschmidt, Seferovic and Gonçalo Ramos.

Not registered with UEFA.
