The 18-year-old striker, Lara Pintassilgo signed a professional contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica until 2024.

A presence in the youth national teams, Lara was loaned to Damaiense in 2020/21 season.

"This loan helped me to improve. I was playing in Liga BPI for a year and it helped me a lot to be prepared for this moment ", said Lara Pintassilgo, to BTV.

Benfica fought until the end for a different outcome in the last 16 of the Club World Cup, but after extra time they fell to Chelsea (1-4), thus ending their journey in the first edition of the competition in the United States of America. In a game that was interrupted in the 86th minute due to the threat of a thunderstorm and ended almost five hours after the kick-off, Di María leveled the score at 90'+5' (1-1), taking the match into 30 minutes of extra time, during which time the result hung in the balance for the English at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
