BTV INTERVIEW

Motivated, happy and eager to train, play and start scoring goals with the Sacred Mantle. Striker Rodrigo Pinho, Benfica's signing until 2026, stepped for the first time on the pitch of Estádio da Luz with an eagle on his chest, this Thursday, and he also visited the Club's Museum.

Rodrigo Pinho

The first sensations

"I am very happy, very motivated. It is a dream come true, a dream that is mine and that of my whole family. I have worked hard for this moment. Now it is time to seize the opportunity, repay the trust placed in me and score many goals with this jersey. (...) A lot of dedication, a lot of will, I will give my life for the Club and I hope to score many goals."

Arrival at Benfica

"It is a big leap in my career. We were left with that thought that maybe it could have happened sooner, but maybe I wasn't as prepared as I am today on all levels - tactical, technical, psychological, and physical. We have the whole pre-season ahead of us to reach my best physical form and for us to have a great season."

The Club's Strength

"Benfica is a giant! I can already feel the power of the fans. All the affection I have received through messages... This also shows the magnitude of the Club, which is giant! I am very happy."

The self-portrait

"I consider myself a skillful striker, but I also like to get out of the box and participate in the build-up behind the opposing midfielders. I consider my finishing a strong point, especially with my left foot."
