It was a calm and well positioned Otamendi who has contributed to a clean sheet in Argentina's victory over Equator, mostly on the second half, when the team led by Lionel Scaloni had to defend the result, exploring the spaces conceded by the opponent.

After the 3-0 win (goals by De Paul, Lautaro and Messi), Otamendi, the player with the most interceptions (5), will face Colombia next Tuesday, in the Semifinals of Copa America.
