MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

Preparing to enter the 2021/22 season, Benfica tested itself against Lille, the reigning French champion, and, with a balanced exhibition enhanced by the effectiveness and cohesion of the sectors, won by 1-0 at Estádio Algarve. The winner came from the a set piece (corner kick by Pizzi) and was scored by Gonçalo Ramos.

After the win over Lille, Benfica's pre-season ends on Sunday, at Estádio da Luz, with a match against another French team, Marseille, at 8 pm.
