Pedro Pichardo, the Portuguese athlete from Sport Lisboa e Benfica, is in the final of the triple jump at the 2020 Olympic Games, which will take place in the early morning of August 5, at 3:00 am in Mainland Portugal (11:00 am in Tokyo).

Pichardo carried out two valid jumps and thus guaranteed, not only the qualification but also 1st place. In the first attempt, he jumped 16,98 meters, but it was in the second that he pulverized everyone and everything, with a mark of 17.71 meters.

"I feel good. Besides being my first Olympic Games, I feel good. The main thing is in my head and I feel confident. I am well prepared physically", guaranteed the Portuguese triple jump athlete to RTP.
