After the bronze medal at the Olympics in Tokio, Fernando Pimenta won the 2nd qualifying round with 3:58,52, beating the German Martin Hiller and the Danish Rene Poulsen, 2nd and 3rd positioned.
The K1 1000 final is scheduled for next Saturday, September 18, at 11:22 am (10:22 am in Portugal).
