Sport Lisboa e Benfica won (3-2) the volleyball Super Cup against Sporting, on October 2, at the Pavilhão Municipal de Santo Tirso, in an emotional game and before the passionate support of many Benfica fans. It was the 10th victory of the competition for the eagles, in the first official game of the 2021/22 season.
