Sport Lisboa e Benfica will lock horns with Boavista in the semi-finals of the League Cup, whose final four is scheduled for the Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa, in Leiria, in January.

The other semi-final will pit Sporting and Santa Clara, winners of groups B and D, respectively.

It is worth mentioning that Benfica is the team with the most League Cup wins: seven.
