Umaro Embaló, the athlete from Benfica B, won the Goal of December award in the Liga 2, with the goal against Académico Viseu on December 14.

Besides the left-footed shot in the match held at the Estádio Municipal de Aveiro, which allowed Umaro Embaló to overcome Wagner (Vilafranquense), João Teixeira (GD Chaves), Diogo Pinto (Estrela da Amadora), Wellington (GD Chaves) and Rochez (Nacional), the 20-year-old winger has scored two more goals in the competition, against Nacional (5-0) and (3-1), in the 17 matches played so far.
