Darwin

Darwin scored the opening goal of Benfica's triumph (0-2) in the trip to Arouca. Pivotal in the eagles' return to winning ways, the Uruguayan international was distinguished as the "Man of the Match" on matchday 19 of the Liga Bwin.

"We know it's a very difficult Championship. It wasn't a good game, but it was good to win and take the three points home. Now it's time to look after ourselves and work for the next game", claimed Darwin, who now has 15 goals scored in the competition,  in statements to Sport TV.

Darwin scored the first goal of the match (32') through a penalty kick and Gonçalo Ramos, who replaced him in the 75', extended the Reds' lead (90'+2') to 0-2. All in all, Benfica won, fulfilled its goal, and the number 9 stressed that the team is already thinking about what's next.

"Benfica must always believe. The Club is big, we have to go game by game. We know the Championship isn't being easy for us, but, as I say, game by game and we're already thinking about the next one", he finished.
