I want to express my great pride and congratulate the Sport Lisboa e Benfica men's roller hockey team for winning the Golden Cup.

This past week, this competition brought together 12 of Europe's best teams, which further enhances the achievement of our team of true champions in A Coruña.

The coaching staff, the athletes and multidisciplinary staff are to be congratulated for the unique journey in this competition!

The Golden Cup was also marked by an excellent organizational level, with notable quality in terms of refereeing. May the national roller hockey competitions also follow an impartial course that restores credibility to one of the most charismatic sports in Portugal.

I therefore congratulate Sport Lisboa e Benfica, for this victory of international impact, and the organization for the exemplary quality shown.
