BENFICA TRAINING SESSION

On the eve of the match against Midtjylland in the 1st leg of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, Benfica's professional football team trained at Benfica Campus. SL Benfica's professional football professional team trained on Monday afternoon, March 10, at the Estadio Olímpico Lluís Companys, the venue for the match against Barcelona, a decisive match for the Eagles' continuity in the Champions League. On the eve of the clash, joy and focus reigned during the first 15 minutes of the training session, which was open to the media and whose best images you can see here. Barcelona-Benfica, in the second leg of the last 16 of the prestigious competition, kicks off at 5:45 pm in mainland Portugal.

Preparation for the Barcelona match

On Tuesday, March 4, the professional football team of Benfica took another step towards preparing for the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Barcelona. Injured players Bah, Manu, Florentino, Tiago Gouveia and Di María did not take part in the training session held at Benfica Campus, which was attended by young midfielders Nuno Félix, Diogo Prioste and Hugo Félix. The match with the Blaugrana is scheduled for 8 pm on Wednesday at the Estádio da Luz.

Preparations for the clash with Barcelona

On the morning of Monday, January 20, Benfica's professional football team continued, in the rain, to prepare for the clash with Barcelona, on matchday 7 of the Champions League, scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, at 8 pm, at Estádio da Luz. Tiago Gouveia and Renato Sanches, undergoing treatment and gym work, were not part of the training session at Benfica Campus, which was attended by youngsters João Fonseca, Nuno Félix, Leandro Santos, Francisco Domingues, Tiago Freitas and Eduardo Fernandes.
