MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

Benfica beat Midtjylland by 4-1 on Tuesday at Estádio da Luz, in a match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League and took the first step towards the play-off. Gonçalo Ramos scored three goals and made his first hat-trick with the first team; Enzo scored his first goal with an eagle on his chest.

First official game of the season and a highly demanding one given the importance of qualifying for the group stage of the Champions League.

Roger Schmidt fielded Odysseas, Gilberto, Morato, Otamendi and Grimaldo; Florentino, Enzo and João Mário; Neres, Rafa and Gonçalo Ramos for the match against Midtjylland.

Just as it showed in the friendly games, the team once again showed intensity, speed, and a lot of spirit.
