The midfielder Julian Draxler, 28 years old, is the new signing of the professional football team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica. World Champion in 2014, the German international arrives at our club on loan to play the 2022/23 season, coming from Paris Saint-Germain.

Used to play for titles at Paris Saint-Germain, where he completed 198 matches and scored 26 goals, and being a German international (58 caps and 7 goals), Draxler arrives at Luz with ambition.

"We are the biggest club in Portugal, and we have to fight for titles. We didn’t win in the last couple of years, and now it’s time to bring the title back home. We have a good team and the ambition to win titles in Portugal. We have a tough Champions League Group, with three difficult opponents. It’s going to be hard, but we believe in ourselves, and I know we’ll have a good season together", he said.
