Sport Lisboa e Benfica have reached an agreement with Jan Vertonghen for contract termination. The player joins Anderlecht, from Belgium.

An experienced center-back with more than 100 caps with Belgium, Vertonghen arrived at Benfica in 2020/21 and finished the 1st season with 42 games (and 1 goal). The second season (2021/22) was completed with 46 games.
