History tells us that Benfica are clearly ahead of Rio Ave. In 65 games completed, the team from Luz won 49 times and drew 11.
Rio Ave are still looking to grab their first win away from home. The team led by Luís Freire are 10th in the table, with nine points, due to two victories (at home against FC Porto by 3-1 and Santa Clara by 1-0) and three draws (away from Vila do Conde). On the other side are Benfica, leaders of the Championship with 22 points, after seven victories and a draw.
