Benfica was trailing against PSG, but was able to turn things around in the UEFA Youth League group H matchday 4. Moreira Jr. and Luís Semedo ( a brace) scored the goals from the reds (2-3). With great consistency in the first half and greater offensive flow, Benfica registered its first victory in the group and the qualification to the next stage remains open.

European Champions honored by Seixal's City Hall

As part of the victory in the UEFA Youth League 2022, SL Benfica's Under-19 team was honored, this Tuesday afternoon, May 3, by the Seixal City Hall. In the reception to the European Champions, in the city hall, there was the usual exchange of souvenirs, and the speeches of Joaquim Santos, Mayor, and Rui Costa, President of SL Benfica. "Benfica is a Lisbon club, represented in the four corners of the world, but it is here, in Seixal, that it has its base, both for Professional Football and for Youth Football", recalled Rui Costa.
