Odysseas, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's player, was elected Liga Bwin 2022/23 Best Goalkeeper of the Month in September. The Greek international got 22.22% of the votes of the competition's head coaches.

The eagles' goal stopper played as a starter in the three matches played and won by the team in September and kept a clean sheet in two of those matches, facing Vizela (he conceded a match), Famalicão and Marítimo.

Odysseas was the most voted, beating Diogo Costa (FC Porto) and Ricardo Batista (Casa Pia), who received, respectively, 20.63% and 16.67% of the votes.
