Benfica Roger Schmidt Best Coach League

Roger Schmidt, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team coach, has been awarded the Vítor Oliveira Award - Coach of the Month of the Liga Bwin 2022/23 in December/January. The eagles' manager received 30.37% of the votes from his counterparts in the competition.

In the six league matches, between December 30, 2022, and January 31, 2023, the reds amassed 13 points (as the result of four wins and a draw).

Behind Roger Schmidt, in the other places of the podium, were Armando Evangelista (Arouca) and Sérgio Conceição (FC Porto), who received 24.44% and 15.56% of the votes, respectively.

Roger Schmidt, remember, had already been considered Liga Bwin League Coach of the Month in August, repeating the distinction in October/November.
