With 44 games (3358 minutes) already played this season - a record that makes him one of the most used players by coach Roger Schmidt - Florentino was once again imperial in the reds' midfield, contributing to Benfica's 5-1 win against Vitória SC on matchday 25 of the Liga Bwin. 

"We are living the Championship game by game, we have a clear goal in mind. It was a very well-played match, and the goal was clearly achieved. We will now have the break [for national team matches], and this victory was the right way to end this phase", claimed Florentino.

A ball recovery specialist, the young center midfielder formed at the Club emphasizes that this is a "characteristic" of his position, but that, for this, the way the team plays is fundamental, because, according to the midfielder, "they are always very well positioned".

"I'm thrilled with the season I'm having," finished Florentino.
