Benfica informs that Gilson Benchimol will continue with an eagle on his chest, after the renewal of his loan with Estoril Praia.

The forward Gilson Benchimol Tavares, 21 years old (29.12.2001), started his football career at SF Damaiense and also played at SC Linda-a-Velha and Real SC.

He arrived at SL Benfica in January 2023, from GD Estoril Praia, and last season he played 16 games and scored 3 goals for the Club's B Team in Liga 2.

A senior international with Cape Verde, he carried out 10 matches and scored 3 goals.
