Odysseas leaves Benfica after 225 matches and four titles won: two National Championships (2018/19 and 2022/23) and two Cândido de Oliveira Super Cups (2019 and 2023). After five years with the eagle on his chest, the goalkeeper moves to Nottingham Forest, from England. 

Presented on May 18, 2018, at Estádio da Luz, Odysseas arrived at Benfica from Panathinaikos. At the age of 24, the Stuttgart-based goalkeeper made his debut in a home win over Fenerbahçe (1-0) in the first leg of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, on August 7, 2018.

This was the first of 50 games of the goalkeeper in the 2018/19 season. In addition to making his debut in the biggest European competition, where he played 10 matches, the number 99 played six more in the Europa League and was the player with the most minutes in the "Reconquista" campaign: counted 3055 minutes in the 34 matches of the National Championship. In the first season, Odysseas celebrated, thus, the first title of his career.

In the next three seasons, the goalkeeper gave his contribution in the Super Cup win at Estádio Algarve, soon to open 2019/20, registering in those years another 119 games with the eagles. The centenary was celebrated on October 18, 2020, in the victory over Rio Ave (0-3), for the Championship.

Already in 2021/22, he was included, together with his teammate Otamendi, in the best team of Champions League group stage, helping Benfica to reach the quarter-finals of the competition too.

In 2022/23, when he reached 200 games for Glorioso, Odysseas was the player with the most minutes in the conquest of 38, ending the campaign with 4889 minutes spread over 34 rounds and as goalkeeper of the team with the least goals conceded: 20. 

The Greek international also made three appearances in the Portuguese Cup, three in the League Cup, and 14 in the Champions League, between quarter-finals, round of 16, group stage and qualifying round. 

Already this season, Odysseas started the game in the 2-0 victory in the Super Cup "clássico" and lifted the trophy for the second time. The last of his 225 games for Benfica took place on 14 August 2023.
