It was with collective quality, individual talent and a lot of class that SL Benfica basketball team won the 15th Super Cup in its history. In a match against Imortal, played on Saturday afternoon, September 16, the national champions won (93-75), but had to pull out all the stops in the face of a fierce response.

Toney Douglas was voted the game's MVP. A fair win, 93-75, and the 15th Super Cup in the Club's history goes straight to the Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião.
