Eagles and "canarinhos" will face each other for the 70th time, with a record favorable to Benfica, victorious in 53 matches (77%). There were also 12 draws (17%) in all competitions.
The team led by Roger Schmidt reach the 8th round leading the chapter of ball possession (60.6%), while the next rival, penultimate positioned, with only four points, present 47.7% (10th in this ranking), according to the data of the Wyscout platform.
With 17 goals scored, Benfica have one of the best attacks of the League, having in Di María (five goals) the top scorer.
Still at the offensive level, we have in Rafa and Neres, the top assistance makers both with four successful actions.
Despite their table position (17th place), the "canarinhos" total 14 goals, the 6th best record. The offensive production contrasts with the performance of the defensive end, parameter in which Estoril are the 2nd worst formation, with 18 goals conceded.
With 122 shots so far (15.1 per game, on average), the reds are the club with the most shots (average of 37.7% on target). Estoril have 83 shots (average 36.1% on target).
Until now, the eagles developed 235 actions of 1x1 and dribble per game, against the 191 of Estoril. Benfica also appear as the team with the most touches inside the box (205), almost the double of the next opponent (110).
At the time of construction, Benfica stand out in the number of passes (4114), being the leader with 86.9% of hit. The men from Estoril total 2513 (81% success). Also noteworthy are the decisive passes made: 45 (average of 5.57 per game), which put the eagles on top of this item. Di María (10), Rafa and Neres, both with nine, are the athletes standing out, surpassing all competition.
The reds are also in the 1st place of the passes for the final third (487; 78% success), in contrast to the opponent (339; 64.9%).

In the last match of Liga Betclic, against Vitória SC in Guimarães, the Estorilistas, already with Vasco Seabra in charge (succeeded Álvaro Pacheco), were defeated (3-2).
