33 young Benfica players in the national teams

In addition to the 11 first-team players called up for their respective national teams, there are also many international players in Benfica's youth team, with 33 players called up to represent different levels of their nations this October.

In the upcoming days, 17 eagles will wear the Portuguese national team jersey: Hugo Félix and Rafael Rodrigues in the U-21s; Diogo Prioste and Nuno Félix in the U-20s; João Rego, Rafael Luís, João Conceição and Ivan Lima in the U-19s; and André Gomes, André Moreira, Guilherme Afonso, Guilherme Gaspar, João Fonseca, Leandro Martins, Martim Ferreira, Olívio Tomé and Tiago Freitas in the U-18s.

Also noteworthy were the seven young Reds (António Luís, Leonardo Tavares, Miguel Vieira, Ricardo Batista, Sevastian Belov, Tiago Rodrigues, and Tomás Ferreira) who, last weekend, October 7 and 8, took part in a training camp for the U-15 National Team.

Benfica also has nine foreign players called up for other national teams: Gilson Benchimol (Cape Verde Senior Squad), António Muanza (Angola Senior Squad), Adrian Bajrami (Albania U-21), Zan Jevsenak (Slovenia U-21), Paul Okon (Australia U-20), Marcel Mendes (Poland U-19), Karel Mustmaa (Estonia U-19), Kyanno Silva (Netherlands U-19) and Luka Velickovic (Serbia U-19).
