Aursnes scores and assists in Norway's win

Benfica's Aursnes (Norway), Musa (Croatia) and Jurásek (Czechia) played for their respective national teams on Thursday, October 12, in the qualifying matches for the 2024 European Championship.

A starter for Norway, the midfielder played 87 minutes of the win against Cyprus (0-4) and, in the 81st minute, scored the fourth goal with a shot from inside the area. Earlier, following a corner kick, he had provided the assist for the 0-2, scored by Haaland. With these three points, the Norwegians remain in 3rd place in Group A, two points behind Spain. The Norwegians' next game is against La Roja on Sunday, October 15.

On his first start for Croatia, Musa was on the pitch for 63 minutes in the 0-1 defeat against Kökcü's Turkey, who didn't come off the bench. With this result, the Turks isolated themselves at the top of Group D with a three-point lead over the Croats, who have played a game less. Musa's national team return to action next Sunday, October 15, against Wales, while Kökcü's side play Latvia on the same day.

Jurásek, meanwhile, started for Czechia in their 3-0 defeat in Albania. With this defeat, the Czechs (who play again next Sunday, October 15, against the Faroe Islands) dropped from second to third place in Group E in exchange for Poland.
