Dominant in their home debut in the current edition of the Champions League group stage, Benfica women's football team overcame Rosengard (1-0) on Matchday 2 of Group A of the European competition. The dominance of Filipa Patão's team could have led to a bigger result.

Third in Group A on equal points with Eintracht Frankfurt, who lost against Barcelona in the other group game (1-3), the Eagles will face the German side in the next round of the Champions League.

The match is scheduled for December 13 and will be the Inspiradoras' first match at the Estádio da Luz in this competition.
