Carlos Macedo, a referee from AF Braga, was appointed by the Portuguese Football Federation to referee Benfica-AVS, matchday 3 of Group B of the League Cup, at 8:15 pm on Thursday, December 21, at Estádio da Luz.

Fábio Silva and José Pereira will be the assistants and Anzhony Rodrigues the fourth official.

The video referee (VAR) will be Manuel Mota, and the assistant (AVAR) Inácio Pereira.
