Between January 22 and 28, Sport Lisboa e Benfica received a visit from four players from the Benfica Football School in Vilnius, Lithuania. The athletes had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the club and its training methodology.

In an exchange program with the parent company, the group of youngsters, accompanied by Mário Patrício, the Club's technical coordinator responsible for the methodological framework in Vilnius, and by coach Remigijus, had the opportunity to train at the Benfica Football School at Estádio da Luz and to visit the Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião, the Cathedral and the city of Lisbon, thus getting to know and feel more warmly what Sport Lisboa e Benfica is all about.

The Benfica Football School in Vilnius (Football Academy Benfica-Ateitis), part of a wide range of Benfica's international projects, is based on a partnership between the club and the Ateitis Football Academy. It started in October 2023 and already has more than 250 players between the ages of 4 and 16.
