PENALTIES SAVED

With the penalty stopped on Sunday, February 18, in Benfica's 6-1 win over Vizela, Trubin now has three penalties saved in the Liga Betclic and has become the most effective goalkeeper in this parameter among the seven main leagues in the UEFA ranking.

Signed by Benfica from Shakhtar Donetsk at the start of this season, the Ukrainian international has proved to be a real specialist when it comes to stopping penalties.

In his 18 league games, Trubin was called into action for five penalties and saved three of them, against Portimonense (matchday 6), Casa Pia (matchday 9) and Vizela (matchday 22).

With the penalty saves made by Rildo, Felippe Cardoso and Essende, the Eagles' No1's efficiency rate is 60%.

The goalkeeper in Europe's top leagues who comes closest to Trubin in this regard is Hoffenheim's Oliver Baumann, who has also saved three penalties in the Bundesliga, but in 1980 minutes of action, 360 more minutes (four full games) than the 1,620 total minutes played by the Eagles' keeper.
