This Friday, March 8, at 3pm, some of the players from Benfica's professional football team will hold an autograph session at the Benfica Official Store - Freeport, in Alcochete, also as a way of marking International Women's Day.

An opportunity for Benfica fans to meet the three-time national champions, who this season reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League, a unique feat in national football.

Five-time champions in celebration

The newly crowned five-time national champions, Benfica's women's football team, were present at the Benfica Official Store at the Estádio da Luz on Tuesday afternoon, April 15. The Inspiradoras interacted with the many fans who lined up - some even waited more than two hours for the session to start - and who didn't waste the opportunity to talk to the protagonists of the historic feat and remember the moment with photographs. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone left satisfied. “Filipa, you're the best coach in the world,” said one Benfica fan.

Passion and mystique while mingling with the crowd

After the women's basketball team and the men's volleyball team, which recently won their respective championships, it was the turn of the new oour-time national women's football champions to be present at the Benfica Official Store at the Estádio da Luz for an autograph session. On Wednesday, May 15, Benfiquistas had the opportunity to exchange a few words, take pictures or receive an autograph from the players. In statements with BTV, Filipa Patão was pleased with the turnout: "It's because of them [the fans] that we win titles." Ana Seiça stressed that the trophies “are as special for the fans” as they are for the players. For her part, Laís Araújo confessed that “it's always good to be with Benfiquistas”. Recognition from supporters on International Women's Day

This Friday, March 8, International Women's Day, Sílvia Rebelo, Carole Costa, Nycole Raysla, Andrea Falcón and Ana Seiça, Benfica footballers, were present at the Benfica Official Store – Freeport, a moment in which they were able to socialize with the fans. For Sílvia Rebelo, the occasion allowed her to continue to "encourage women to do what they love". To BTV, Ana Seiça mentioned the "appreciation" of women in society, while Andrea Falcón highlighted "the weight" that women have in "society and in football".
