This Wednesday, May 15, the four-time national football champions, winners of the Super Cup and the League Cup, will be at the Benfica Official Store at the Estádio da Luz at 6pm for an autograph session. The Inspiradoras will also play in the Portuguese Cup final this Sunday, May 19, at 5:15pm, at the Estádio Nacional, against Racing Power.

Five-time champions in celebration

The newly crowned five-time national champions, Benfica's women's football team, were present at the Benfica Official Store at the Estádio da Luz on Tuesday afternoon, April 15. The Inspiradoras interacted with the many fans who lined up - some even waited more than two hours for the session to start - and who didn't waste the opportunity to talk to the protagonists of the historic feat and remember the moment with photographs. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone left satisfied. “Filipa, you're the best coach in the world,” said one Benfica fan.

After the women's basketball team and the men's volleyball team, which recently won their respective championships, it was the turn of the new oour-time national women's football champions to be present at the Benfica Official Store at the Estádio da Luz for an autograph session. On Wednesday, May 15, Benfiquistas had the opportunity to exchange a few words, take pictures or receive an autograph from the players. In statements with BTV, Filipa Patão was pleased with the turnout: "It's because of them [the fans] that we win titles." Ana Seiça stressed that the trophies “are as special for the fans” as they are for the players. For her part, Laís Araújo confessed that “it's always good to be with Benfiquistas”.
