Benfica's women's futsal team beat Torreense, by 8-0, this Saturday, March 30, at the Pavilhão Multiusos de Sines, and won the 8th Portuguese Cup in its history!

The Alentejo coast was the stage for another page of glory for Benfica's futsal section, this time for the women's team. Goals from Janice (3), Fifó (3) and Sara Ferreira (2) earned the eagles the Portuguese Cup! One more for the women, to add to the two won last weekend by the volleyball and basketball teams! 

Benfica-Torreense 

After the Super Cup and the (unofficial) Women's European Champions, the Eagles won the Portuguese Cup. The next goal is now the Placard Women's League. On Saturday, April 6, at 6 pm, Benfica visit Atlético at Tapadinha in game 1 of the quarter-finals of the championship play-off.
