Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that have reached an agreement with Rio Ave for the loan of player Martim Neto. The loan deal is valid for one season, until the end of 2024/25.

In 2023/24, the young midfielder was on loan at Gil Vicente, playing 33 games and scoring one goal. In 2024/25, after pre-season with the Reds' first team, he was an unused substitute in two league games.

In 2014/15, Martim Neto began his career as an eagle at the CFT Braga. The following season, in 2015/16, he moved to the Benfica Campus, progressing through all the youth levels. Along the way, he contributed to winning the 2021/22 UEFA Youth League 2021/22 and the U-20 Intercontinental Cup in 2022. In the 2022/23 season, he represented the Eagles' B team
