Canoeing
The Benfica canoeist, together with José Ramalho, won the K2 marathon race at the World Championships in Metkovic, Croatia, thus repeating the feats of 2022 and 2023.

After the titles in 2022 (Portugal) and 2023 (Denmark), the Portuguese duo have now celebrated in Croatia, becoming three-time world champions.
With a time of 1h53m56.58s, the national canoeists beat all the competition, with the French duo of Quentin Urban and Jeremy Candy coming in at 1.65 seconds (1h53m58.23s). Rounding out the podium was the Hungarian pair, Adrian Boros and Tamas Erdelyi, with 23.10 seconds less (1h54m19.68s) than the now three-time world champions.
