“I'm happy with my goal, but more with the win”

Pavlidis had the honor of opening the scoring in the Boavista-Benfica match on Matchday 6 of the Liga Betclic, after 11 minutes, finishing off Aktürkoğlu's fine work on the left side of the penalty area in the best way possible.

"We played a great game, we had a lot of chances to score, we controlled the game from the first minute. An away win is very important for us right now, as it was our first," the Greek international forward told Sport TV.

On his 2nd goal in the Liga Betclic, Pavlidis preferred to emphasize the collective effects of his individual action. "Am I happy with my goal? Of course, but I'm happier with the win. When you're a striker, you have to be in the box to score goals, and it will certainly be important for my confidence and that of the team."
