Listen to Pavlidis
"We played a great game, we had a lot of chances to score, we controlled the game from the first minute. An away win is very important for us right now, as it was our first," the Greek international forward told Sport TV.
On his 2nd goal in the Liga Betclic, Pavlidis preferred to emphasize the collective effects of his individual action. "Am I happy with my goal? Of course, but I'm happier with the win. When you're a striker, you have to be in the box to score goals, and it will certainly be important for my confidence and that of the team."
PAVLIDIS' GOAL
This was Benfica's third win in a row, and they're going through a good run of form, which the Reds' 14 explained as follows: "We're in good shape, we're doing things well, we're playing more attacking football, and it's important for us to continue like this and win games."
Finally, his opinion on the new coach, Bruno Lage: "He knows Benfica very well and what this club is about, he tries to help us create more chances to score goals, to play attacking football, which he wants, and we, of course, want to do everything for the fans, that's what matters most."
